Overview

The Technical Customer Support Intern will act as a core member in Zebra’s Managed and Solutions support team, helping support the overall success of the services by learning the new and upcoming Solutions areas and providing key input.  Act as a conduit between multiple teams and assist in filling in any gaps that may otherwise reduce the overall effectiveness of the solution.  Research new tools and other elements of the solution and provide input and technical guidance.  Support existing NA Regional Lead and Team in other key areas to be determined based on critical and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates varied technical solutions to the internal team via multiple channels using effective communication, listening and comprehension skills. 
  • Fully documents interactions in real-time; may author content for review.
  • Contributes to technical discussions using full understanding of the product functions and features and customer environments.
  • Analyzes and corrects product issues/ malfunctions with intermittent supervision on day-to-day work and general supervision on new assignments.
  • Works on a full range of problems of moderate scope that require selection and/or modification of existing procedures and processes.
  • Collaborates with fellow technicians and supervisor to solve complex problems.

Qualifications

  • Junior/Senior Bachelor Degree-Related Major.
  • 2-5 years of equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to articulate technical issues in simple to understand terms to both management and other parties.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills.
