Overview

Zebra provides an excellent opportunity for college students passionate about a career in the Human Resources field to gain valuable experience through a summer internship. The internship will provide you hands-on experience in real business activities with the expectation of successfully completing core activities and projects across the Human Resources department.  We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working individual who is interested in the opportunity to work directly with our highly experienced Human Resources professionals to collaborate on various projects that directly affect the business and set the stage for Zebra's future.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: You will analyze workforce data and demographics to assist in creating organizational recommendations and future-state action plans.
  • Administrative Support: Provide support of projects related to varying Functional organizations. as necessary.
  • Job Description Creation: Work with cross-departments on job descriptions where updates are needed.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Assists in special projects or assignments to serve our co-workers and support the management directives of the company.
  • Confidentiality: You will handle sensitive data with a sound sense of privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate college/university program as of June 2018, as a Junior or Senior.

 

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-motivated and driven to get results and make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively.
  • Shown resourcefulness with creative analytical skills.
  • Track record of stabilizing multiple priorities at a time while adapting to the changing needs of the business
  • Shown customer service skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality of all partners involved.
  • Team oriented; develops positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved.
  • Time management; showcases ability to meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office; proficient in applications and delivery of information, particularly Excel.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • General business and/or Human Resource coursework
