    The purpose of this internship is to prepare college juniors and seniors for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization to include theory and practical application of attained knowledge.


    Project work will differ in each area depending on business needs, and all interns will participate in the US Zebra Internship Program. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!


    The Quality Support Intern will responsible for designing and installing quality control processes, procedures, tools, and statistical techniques. Actively participate in resolution of customer product and service issues for defined product line(s). Drives improvements in processes, services, and products that enhances Zebra’s overall competitive position and ensure highest customer satisfaction in the industry.

    • Works on a variety of new quality process design projects that constitute a portion of a larger project.
    • Uses resources effectively to solve problems that are outside of the incumbent’s technical expertise.
    • Analyzes data to make process improvement recommendations.
    • Conducts process reviews to ensure processes applied meet established quality standards.
    • Conducts root cause analysis. Provides recommendations on moderately complex problems.  Use structured problem solving approach for root cause analysis and issue resolution. 
    • Develops positive relationships with suppliers and other company functions involved in the design, fulfillment, and manufacturing process.
    • Makes recommendations to immediate team, suppliers, and manufacturing engineers to enhance performance and improve production quality.
    • Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems
    • Ensure proactive measures are in place to minimize interruptions due to quality events.  
    • Create/Release process flow diagrams and procedures for Quality processes at the Global Distribution Centers



    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in a discipline related to the project specifics. If an undergraduate, must be at the junior or senior level.
    • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
    • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic and/or extracurricular experiences
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
    • Knowledge of Quality Assurance program problem solving tools, statistical methodologies, and Lean Six Sigma
    • High level computer literacy
    • Working knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Chart, 8 Discipline Report
