    The purpose of this internship is to prepare college juniors and seniors for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization to include theory and practical application of attained knowledge.

     

    Project work will differ in each area depending on business needs, and all interns will participate in the US Zebra Internship Program. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

     

    Zebra’s Engineering IT team is looking for an intern to assist in managing end to end critical engineering process & design applications. This includes strong partnership with engineering community to meet their current and future business strategies. The team also is responsible for the research, analysis, requirements, design, coding, testing, and integration of software features, and all software management, integration and validation activities to support Zebra’s engineering teams. In addition, the team provides technical and other leadership in working through issues with other teams and follow up of issues to conclusion.

    • Opportunity to participate and/or lead the adoption of Flexera Software Licensing into existing and new software products.
    • Interfacing with IT and Business users for requirements gathering, design specification, testing and communication.
    • Analyze business requirements, design and deploy enhancements or fixes to Flexera Software Licensing application.

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Junior/Senior with a Bachelor Degree-Related Major (i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, etc.)
    • Experience with MS Access, Excel, Visio, and Project.
    • Experience with Android, Apple iOS, and/or Windows Mobile Software application development and licensing desired.
    • Experience with Agile Project Management methods using JIRA desired.
    • Strong analytical abilities.
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent active listening skills.
    • Ability to participate within local & global IT teams as well as acting autonomously as appropriate.
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple activities concurrently.
    • Experience with MCAD design and data management applications desired (i.e. PTC Creo and Windchill).
    • Experience with ECAD design and data management applications desired (i.e. Cadence Allegro CST Antenna Design, Agilent RF Design).
