    The purpose of this internship is to prepare college juniors and seniors for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization to include theory and practical application of attained knowledge.


    Project work will differ in each area depending on business needs, and all interns will participate in the US Zebra Internship Program. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!


    Job Overview and Objectives:  Enterprise Sales Intern supports and assists Zebra Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Transportation & Logistics sales team, as well as the Global Sales and Strategy team, by utilizing customer installed base information to generate leads for product refresh or expanded portfolio sales for our end user Account Managers.

    • Develop interpersonal skills to communicate with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities.

    • Researching Zebra customer sales history data to uncover refresh opportunities for batteries based on original purchase date of hardware
    • Understanding and articulating Zebra product solutions, benefits and supporting collateral that best replace older models that are still in use by customers
    • Calling Zebra customers to confirm they are still using older product and offering campaign materials to encourage customer conversations to upgrade their solutions
    • Conduct BAO type call campaign to help set meetings for sales objectives – potentially supplies
    • Work with Account Managers to assist with competitive heat maps – identifying areas of growth by analyzing what competitive equipment is installed, product life cycle, Zebra advantages, etc.
    • Assist with account planning exercises and participate in account planning meetings. Loading outcomes in Salesforce.com
    • Track status of new products being placed on maintenance contracts
    • Rockwell prospects aligned to Rockwell dealers
    • Assist with Underserved initiatives (contact follow-up, social media connects).
    • Participate in end user customer visits. Including pre-meeting sales call objectives and documenting results from visit within Salesforce.com.
    • Perform other related inside sales responsibilities as assigned



    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in a discipline related to the project specifics. If an undergraduate, must be at the junior or senior level.
    • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
    • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic and/or extracurricular experiences
    • Strong problem-solving abilities

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

    • Strong analytical skills for use in system research, triangulating data to draw conclusions
    • Second-nature computer skills, proficient in Excel, Salesforce.com experience a plus
