    This summer intern position provides an exciting opportunity for a college student interested in pursuing a career in the mobile technology industry, while developing business and strategy skills together with a passion for technology. In this role, you will work alongside product managers, managing our industry-leading Android mobile computers and developing new solutions for the retail and healthcare markets. You will perform competitive analysis, create new marketing information, produce business and financial reports, and help manage the overall product lifecycle including new product releases.


    The purpose of this internship is to prepare college juniors and seniors for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization to include theory and practical application of attained knowledge. All interns will participate in the US Zebra Internship Program. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!


    Responsibilities include assisting product management staff with managing current products and defining product strategies and solutions in the retail and healthcare market, and product planning for next generation solutions. You will have the opportunity to:

    • Develop planning, organizational and time management skills.
    • Increase technology knowledge and skills.
    • Identify and report trends and market observations.
    • Perform competitive analysis and update respective competitive portals.
    • Create and update sales & marketing tools, and support new product launches
    • Engage with regional leads to identify country trends, product needs, and customer feedback from Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America.
    • Support our Sales and TA teams by addressing issues and new feature requests.
    • Engage with customers and solution partners to gather voice of the customer inputs.
    • Perform competitive and SWOT analysis.
    • Identify product feature recommendations.
    • Develop business cases, financial analysis, and produce financial reports, planning and forecasting
    • Develop team-based work competencies.
    • Develop interpersonal skills to communicate with employees.
    • Develop interpersonal skills to communicate with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities.
    • Develop interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external customers.



    • Current enrollment in a business undergraduate/graduate degree program. If an undergraduate, must be at the junior or senior level. Graduating students who intend to go on for their MBA are also desirable.
