    The purpose of this internship is to prepare college juniors and seniors for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization to include theory and practical application of attained knowledge.

     

    Project work will differ in each area depending on business needs, and all interns will participate in the US Zebra Internship Program. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

     

    Intern level position available in Mobile Electrical Engineering group. Intern will be responsible for Engineering Verification Testing in Mobile Electrical Engineering lab. Technologies include Embedded Computing, DDR, NAND, 802.11 WiFi, Smart-ready Bluetooth, thermal printing

    Responsibilities

    Engineering Verification Testing

    • Functional testing
    • DC/DC power measurement and results reporting
    • Digital Timing Analysis and results reporting
    • RF Signal Measurement and Results Reporting
    • Sensor Control and Output Measurement and results reporting

     

    Qualifications

    • Candidate must be actively pursuing Undergraduate level course study in Electrical Engineering
    • Course work must include Physics, Electrical theory, Circuit theory, Digital Circuits, Computer Science
    • Candidate must demonstrate hands-on lab experience, preferrably in the Electronics field
    • Candidate must demonstrate Hands-on experience operating test equipment including Oscilloscope, Voltage Meter, Ohm Meter, Microscope
    • Solid understanding Digital Design concepts required
    • Schematic Entry Skills a plus
    • Verilog/VHDL design skills a plus
    • C Programming Skills a plus
    • Matlab/Python scripting skills a plus
    • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
    • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic and/or extracurricular experiences
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
